Arvind's running a marathon and raising money

Hi. Welcome to my Team Asha page. I am running a marathon, specifically the Silicon Valley 2008 marathon under the Team Asha banner. Team Asha is a sports training program that trains people, like me. In return, we raise money for a great cause - supporting educational initiatves for underprivileged children in India.

You can check out what Team Asha is about here. And what the parent organization, Asha, does.

The goal of this page is to raise awareness to the cause and help you see meaning to it. As allocating time to help organizations doing good social work is becoming understandably tougher by the day, the least we can do is give them access to resources. I hope you see it the way I do and can really contribute monetarily towards this wonderful cause. You can follow my journey at my blog and look at my runner net page, which keeps track of all the donations.

Pledge $5 or $50 or $500 or any amount in between.
Every little bit goes a long way.

Why should you donate?

All donations are tax-deductible (only in the US), as if all these reasons weren't enough!

How to donate?

You can donate by using your credit card on my runner net page.
Or if you want to mail a check, send me an email and we can discuss further details.
I do not have a Paypal account but if you cannot donate by any other means, let me know and I will figure something out.
